By Kucharekh
As the other review stated. The lowest resistance is pretty hard in comparison to other machines I have used. Otherwise it worked and did what I wanted it to do for the most part. Until the very beginning of the 4th month after having it. At which point the crank shaft that just spins as you push the pedal around twisted and snapped apart during mid stride sending me crashing to the ground. We decided to contact customer service even though the warranty was up figuring they may work with us since this was a part that should not break in the fashion that it did. Or for that fact break at all. At first they sounded like they would help us and would get back with us. Didn't hear anything for a couple days when we received an email stating if we wanted to fix our machine we would have to purchase the 3/4 by 6 inch (approximately) shaft for almost $60. Would be more than that after S&H charges. This was a $200 machine meaning this small shaft would cost us about 1/3 of the total cost of what we paid for the machine. I realize the warranty is up by 1 month but in my opinion a company that won't stand behind there product on a part that should not have been able to twist and snap like it did sending me to the ground is not worried about customer relations or satisfaction. Nor do I believe that if I buy this part for $60 after only owning the machine for 4 months that this would be the end of my problems. Take this review for what you will. And before some people make assumptions, No I am not at or above there 250 pound weight limit they rated this machine for.
